About Me

I’m Angelo Black, the founder of BlackMillsFit and a certified personal trainer, nutritionist and power-builder dedicated to helping people rebuild their strength and confidence after weight loss. But my passion for coaching didn’t come from textbooks—it came from my own struggles and experiences.

Fitness wasn’t always a part of my life. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, frustrated, and unsure of where to start. I’ve faced setbacks, navigated my own physical and mental battles, and learned that real transformation isn’t just about weight—it’s about rebuilding strength, finding balance, and creating a lifestyle that supports long-term success.

Through my journey, I realized that people who have gone through massive weight loss—whether from bariatric surgery or GLP-1 medications—face unique challenges that most trainers don’t understand. Muscle loss, joint pain, loose skin, metabolic shifts—these aren’t just minor obstacles; they impact how you move, train, and feel every day.
